3 States, 2 countries, 1 day

Hola, and greetings from Nicaragua.  What a day. We traveled from Charleston, WV, then to NYC, followed by Miami.  Finally around 7:30 p.m. we arrived in Managua.  It's been a long day, but a good day. We made it here safe, and ready to get the trip started.... AFTER a little bit of sleep.  Since today was pretty much a travel day, there is not much to tell. But I do have one story. As most of you all know, my favorite band is The Dave Matthews Band. As Meredith was buying a memory card for her camera today in Miami, I looked over her shoulder and there stood Boyd Tinsley, the violin player for Dave Matthews. Meredith said, go say hello and introduce yourself. I was so star shocked, by the time I could move he was gone.  Since we had a 4 hour layover, we decided to try and hunt him down. No go. Boyd was gone forever.

Well, thats all I got. We are here, we are safe, and we are very excited to be here. Tomorrow morning, Demo is meeting us to get the rental car, then off to Leon for the night to meet with NewSong Missions.  Thank you all for your prayers, and please continue to pray, as we drive for the first time in Nicaragua tomorrow.  We did get one answered prayer, the rental company had an automatic SUV for us to rent.

Until tomorrow,

Uncle B-rad
